What’s going with Microsoft??

World is the most fascinating place. Its hard to expect the ray of hopes in Humans and effect of that Hope for Generations. Humans mostly try to be in groups and work, think, share with in groups or small communities. This had lead the Modern age man to organize the future for safety and better living trying to showcase all the efforts pre-generations went on.

Microsoft was one great company which was started as a collaboration between two young geeks and for a long Generation, Microsoft gained immense popularity and even critics. It was in the line of top innovative companies and drove most of the Internet Revolution of this Century. Slowly, things got diverted beyond the geeky stuff Microsoft had originally intended to. Microsoft enjoyed a long lasting victory in some areas of digital stuff. Mostly Internet browser, Operating System and Microsoft-Office, which is still the solo ruler in most corporate offices. Sometimes, life without any competition is a dull thing and life with competition is a hell thing. Apple, Sun Microsystems and Google were most of the Microsoft contenders and now Microsoft is going through rough phase of its journey.

First, lets talk Software Operating systems…… In this area Microsoft completely dominated the PC version of Os’s but It had failed more bitterly in Mobile Os versions. In Pc OS’s though Microsoft is enjoying its market share, its been punched constantly from Apple and various distros of Linux. Google is also planning to release it Android tablet version, which could give some serious competition to Microsoft here. Apple is constantly rising with its Mac Os and Linux being an open-source are harassing Microsoft sales. In mobile Os version Windows 7 Phone gained just 1.5% market share while Apple IOS is still the ruler in this area having more than 50% of Mobile Os market share and Android is flatly catching IOS numbers. But, most important thing is Mobile is the future of computing and Apple had done a great innovation in this aspect to push out everyone in this area.

Second, lets talk about hardware Systems…… Its the area where Microsoft was not at all intended to aim for!! Microsoft being a core Software entity just switched some logics and started making Computer hardware components from Mouse to web-cams to even projectors. Of course, there are competitors in this area also and still Microsoft is doing well looking out the sales it can be confirmed easily. Though Its not the best hardware provider,  Microsoft is still doing pretty good and quite innovative in this area. Competitors like Logitech, I-ball, Creative and Samsung are most of its competitors!!

thirdly, their gaming consoles XBOX….. this is the area where Microsoft is enjoying a great spotlights though there are many serious guys like Sony and Nintendo!!

So, What Microsoft is thinking now?? Its under a huge competition in Mobile section. its Os share is a constant lean??  Google’s Android is also posing more threat ?? There hadn't been any praised innovations since a long time except tweaking their softwares and hardwares. So, they need a perfect partner for their Mobile version story!!Coming to Mobiles, Android is an open-source and so, it can be adopted by any small or big company with just having a membership in OHA of Google. Apple’s IOS is a very closed open-source so Microsoft can’t reply on it. This is Microsoft’s turmoil

Nokia, was considered the best Mobile company till 2007 and since then its under constant huge threat from Apple. Apple released iPhone 2G and hadn’t looked back. Apple was on a roll and earned huge positive critics for its innovative and standard hardware products. At one stage in middle of century Apple was under threat from Microsoft and now Apple is threatening Microsoft.  Now, Nokia is completely out of its Innovation track and they are so greedy to become market giants again. Being top handset manufacturer Nokia  has software platforms like Symbian and Meego. Both platforms are in a turmoil with the rise of IOS and Android.

The latest news is Microsoft deal with Nokia. Though, its quite shocking and looking weird! its true, Microsoft and Nokia are coming together to regain some market share from Apple and Google. Its a weird hope for these both giants to mingle with, according to me. It will take easily more than 10 years for these both companies to push their limits and over throw Apple’s share in market. Most of the critics say Nokia should have tried for Android version as its completely open-source for development and publishing. of course, its up to Nokia but also Microsoft has it own Mobile version Windows 7 phone. So, its a very mess on the messy part right now for these both giants looking the way they had dealt for. its very tough to predict success and easily tough to predict failure. But, Some part of the development will feel the pressure. If Nokia makes windows 7 phone as officially supported Os for its Mobiles similar to HTC then Symbian and Meego will be stressed out. If Microsoft makes Symbian as at least official supported Mobile platform then Windows 7 Phone will be stress out as a money-oriented theme of Mobile carnage. Should see what these giants had in mind with this deal!! Early indications are also not that sweet to hope. Nokia-India CEO confirmed that it takes easily 15 months for a product of this combined deal. That’s a long time enough for Android to overtake IOS in market.

Hope their product make more churn and buzz than Apple iPhone or Samsung Galaxy!!

Kudos WikiLeaks !!

We all know Wikileaks has exposed a huge pile of classified records on External affairs to internal affairs of many countries who played and are playing huge role in International issues. This Wikileaks is the bold, daring, clear and assailable journalism of modern World. It might question that Is this the real journalism??Before we Ask this question its good to look out some highlights of Wikileaks..

In Wikipedia, its clearly stated that Wikileaks has been honored by many Non-profit Organizations like Economist.com (this site has a heavy reputation about  portraying good and bad about today’s Economics ), ‘Veterans for Peace’, Amnesty International, ‘reporters without borders’  etc..  . Governments of Venezuela and Ecuador stated their support publicly to Julian Assuage, founder of Wikileaks.org.

Coming to the Journalism issue, the real meaning of Journalism is ‘the collecting, writing, editing, and presenting of news or news articles in newspapers and magazines and in radio and television broadcasts’ from freedictionary.com .Journalism is writing journals for mass and It shouldn’t be  thwarted or foiled. The simple way to defend  is to answer it. Just Answering will clearly change the content of Journalism, Its just words needed to answer.

These days many Governments spend money much more like water wafers without considering the quality and process of end results. If a person writes something much classified to a common man for which these classified information holds the result of huge Government spending then obviously, it must be answered or else it raises serious doubts and it stinks a lot later.

Truly speaking, these Wikileaks exposed complete negativity by impersonating many important characters of  this world in their Documents either good or bad. These documents have undesirable, bad, serious, sensitive and penetrating information from Guantanamo Bay to Sarah Palin’s yahoo email account to Nuclear accident in Iran to Toxic dumping in Africa to corruption in banks, protocols which are not exercised, 9/11 messages, US intelligence reports, Love parade documents, all about Iraq War, Afghanistan War, talks between world leaders on sensitive issues etc.. so This Wikileaks has the complete cables from sources which are unreachable to even Governments and Intelligence agencies.

This classified documents which is the collective hard work of hundreds of cables and many more who wants to show something which is not reachable and  something which cannot be opined is considered offensive??.The unusual thing of the present moment is that Wikileaks founder Julian Assuage is under a immense attack from Governments, media mughals and  Ambassadors of and from different countries. Common man is Awe struck with the little tip of an ice berg he showed in his Website and now his site is brought down and Interpol is being ordered to arrange an arrest warrant. Is this the way democracy in America is exercised?? If someone does something wrong then why he is not brought to law even if he is a martyr?? He is still a Human and he accepts the constitution of his Country!!???

I feel so sorry for Julian Assuage who showed new manner, means and room for today;s Journalism which is completely wilted and tilted to Governments and Corporates had ended in a tussle which can’t be dared to by any individual.

Longlive Wikileaks!! This could start Zeidgeist momentum if everyone stands for it!!

Best Zero Emission Cars today!

Zero emission cars are the wave of the future. And more manufacturers seem to realize that in order to deal with the growing scarcity of fossil fuels, producing environmental friendly cars is a solid investment.
The concepts and designs that are thought up by engineers and designers at some of the biggest car makers in the world are featured in this lens.
These are the best in zero emission car design.

Volkswagen Concept S

Volkswagen has been known to produce smaller, easy to drive cars that are perfect for city dwellers. This has inspired designer Mark Kruse (see more design in his portfolio) to come up with this design for a zero emission car called Concept S.

The concept will be powered by four electric motors and to even make it more environmental friendly it will be painted with water based paint. With adding or removing seats or other cosmetic changes, the car can be transformed into a hatchback, small SUV or small truck.

Hyundai 2020

Designer Nicolas Stone has come up with a zero emission concept for Hyundai. The design was inspired by plants because of the way it uses the same elements as plant life to produce it's own fuel.

Dubbed the 2020, the concept is aimed as a family/city car and should seat up to four people.

Water is converted into hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis (powered by the transparent solar panels which cover the body) which powers the hydrogen engine. And by using just solar and hydrogen power, the only emission this car will produce is clean water and oxygen.

Jaguar C-XC

Jaguar is one of the best known British car manufacturers in the world. From the vintage E-type to the newest XK their coupes have always been sleek and beautiful. Phillip Dean used those design characteristics to design the C-XC. It's a concept aimed at being as energy efficient and environmental friendly as possible.

To give it the classic Jaguar look and add to the aerodynamic shape of the car, a single sheet glass pane and covered wheels are embedded in the design. Not only does this concept use a zero emission hydrogen engine, the car will be build by reused materials such as vegetable tan leather and recycled plastic bottles.

Morgan Life Car

Morgan is another example of a British classic car manufacturer. Realizing the resources for fossil fuel are definite, they developed the Life Car which was shown to the world on the Geneva Motor Show.

Inspired by their Aero-8 roadster this car is powered by 4 electric hubs mounted on each wheel and powered by a hydrogen engine. It's extremely light (under 700 kgs) because of the use of materials such as aluminum and wood. They also left out a stereo system, central lock mechanisms and air bags (which cuts down on the safety features) in an effort to keep down the weight.

It's range should be around 250 miles on a single tank and have a top speed of around 100 mph. Doing the 0-60 run should take about 7 seconds.

It's a stunning and sleek car. A video featuring the car can be found below.

Honda FC sports car

Honda already has a zero emission car you could buy right now in the Clarity. This hasn't stopped them from coming up with new concepts when it comes to environmental friendly cars.

Revealed at the L.A. Auto show, the FC sports car is a three-seat, hydrogen powered car. Power is supplied via battery packs behind the rear seats and middle of the car. With this design Honda once again proves its commitment towards creating greener cars.

Peugeot

Peugeot  RD concept

It seems to be coming right from the set of Minority Report or Blade Runner, but this design is the winner of Peugeot's "Imagine the Peugeot in the Worldwide Metropolis of tomorrow"-competition. The design by Carlos Arturo Torres features a single-seater, three-wheel design which should make it a perfect fit for the urban environment.

The design should be powered by electric motors to make it as environmental friendly as possible. With the ability to lean into corners, the car should create the sensation of riding a scooter with keeping the advantages of driving a saloon car. The concept was introduced during the Shanghai Motor Show.

Peugeot Capsule

The Peugeot Capsule concept is an ATV with an environmental friendly approach. Designed by Alp Germaner the car is intended for the more adventure minded driver who wants to drive their car on all terrains and all weather types.

A battery pack powers an electric engine, with solar panels on the roof providing additional electricity. It also features a build-in and removable storage compartment. All vehicle functions are controlled through touch-screen technology and it's equipped with state of the art internet connectivity through satellites.

Arius Concept

More looking like a Batmobile than a conventional car, the Arius Concept designed by Jongpil Shin has some interesting features. It has an electric motor and the sleek and aerodynamic design produces less drag.

The two-seater concept also features cross seating so driver and passenger face each other.

These are the cars which are officially in manufacturing stage, but some critics say many of them are not completely zero emission cars as some of them  employ hybrid engines for cutting running costs!
